Can we prepare tomorrow's leaders with yesterday's tools?
No. That is why one of the primary goals of Baylor 2012 is a flourishing learning environment for our students. We are developing buildings that will significantly and positively impact our faculty and students. Our new, world-class Baylor Sciences Building houses a full complement of natural science teaching, research and experimentation. We have also created a more seamless living and learning environment with new "residential villages" that are attached to academic facilities and help promote community.
To help these learning environments flourish, our goal has been to add 250 new professors. This will help lower class sizes and raise student/faculty interaction.
And to foster a rigorous academic environment, we have a growing Honors College that will challenge and nurture the most academically gifted students.
